A beginners course will take a student through the twelve classical yoga postures and basic breathing techniques, as well as an introduction to the 5 points of yoga. The course is supported with handouts and leaves the student with enough knowledge to continue home practise. This course is suitable for the complete beginner or those who have not practised yoga for many years.

A level two course will reinforce the classical postures and move on to practise variations, supported with handouts. This course is suitable for those who have completed a beginners course in yoga.

A level three/intermediate course becomes less structured. There is less instruction and more flow throughout the class. Students move quickly from one pose to another or hold poses for longer times with short relaxations in between, giving the student a complete workout. More advanced postures are also practised The Kriyas (cleansing techniques) are discussed and practised (where possible). This course is designed for people who have completed a level 2 class or who have practised yoga for a number of years.

Power Hour - A shorter class with no relaxations between poses. There is a continuous flow with an emphasis on using bandhas whilst holding postures.

Pregnancy/Post Natal Yoga course covers many breathing techniques for relaxation and pain coping. This class also covers yoga postures specially modified for the pregnant woman. These postures will help keep the body toned and supple throughout the pregnancy thus facilitating an easier labour. Key postures will be identified throughout the class which are especially beneficial to speed up recovery after the birth. This course is suitable for pregnant women from 12 weeks on and from 3 weeks after birth.

All Levels Yoga is a class that is designed to suit the needs/level of the group, incorporating breath, relaxation and asanas (exercises). No experience is required to join this class. It is suitable for the absolute beginner or for those with some experience.

Childrens Yoga works on the whole body and is a gentle, noncompetitive form of exercise that all children can enjoy. It promotes strength and flexibility, good coordination and posture. In our increasingly stressful and noisy lives it teaches children how to relax, how to concentrate, how to be quiet and still. These classes have a more playful approach using imagery and quiet games to help the children learn and absorb the techniques and essence of yoga.

Relaxation a stress buster hour, uses relaxation techniques and breathing exercises, meditation and contemplation, soothing sounds and visualisation to create a feeling of peace and calm. Individuals will be encouraged to let go physically, mentally and emotionally leaving the body more carefree, more lightful and bouyant. Diet will also be looked at to identify foods that can contribute towards or alleviate stress and anxiety.
